For your consideration, this lovely antique 14K gold Victorian, Art Nouveau faux tortoise shell floral & ivy motif hair comb. This comb was masterfully created, the ivy and floral scroll work is beautiful. This comb was made from celluloid (plastic) which was a popular way to create these combs after the mid 1800's.  The teeth and length of the comb were made in a 3 dimensional wavy fashion, making it really feel Art Nouveau. Just a lovely piece that could be restored or repaired. 14 gold scroll work is in good overall condition, 3 teeth are broken off, and there are some scratches in the back, and normal wear to teeth.
