    Description

    Really old Brown Transferware Plate in the Rhine pattern by Ralph Hammersley. Staffordshire English, made circa 1862 - 1885 according to English Pottery marks. Romantic scene of people in boats on river with Castle and Trees in background. Scroll and flower border. Marked Rhine and R Hammersley and some impressed numbers that are hard to read.
    Size: 8 3/8". Weighs 7/8 lbs.
    Condition: Great, without damage or repairs. Some light brown staining on back side.
