    Description

    This is a hard to find ad fan and special that the Hotel would pay Duvelleroy for them.  It is described by the excerpt by Bull & Rogers I attached as the last photograph.  The cartouche shows two women examining a flower in the garden.  It has 16 wood sticks stained brown and decorated with  the guards with light carving at 7-7/8" long each.  The fan opens to 13-1/4" wide, and has a steel rivet with brass washers.  Please note that the "leaf" showing at the top of the guard sticks is the way the fan was made, not a flaw.
