About the Cup and Saucer
This is a lovely, rare, bone china "Golden Thistle" Hammersley cup and saucer. The pattern is thistles in 24 kt gold on white with scalloped edging and is now discontinued. The size is

. I believe this pattern is from the late 1930's but I am not 100% sure.
The cup and saucer are in excellent, like new, vintage condition with no signs of wear (looks like the set has never been used!).  If you are a collector this would be a lovely addition to your collection.
