I am moving to Florida so I need to reduce my collection.I've had this interesting piece for a couple of years, having acquired it at auction. It wasn't catologued, though, so I don't know much about it other than a bit of help from a friend from Taiwan.
I highlighted the maker's mark on the bottom, and she was able to read that it was Ying Dynasty. She also shared with me the importance of the peach in China as representing long life.
I did research Mud Man a bit to try to understand the material which seems like a painted clay. Here's a link you may find useful:

So, I suspect it is a Mud Man, and it is marked Ying. I acquired it at the same time as some world war II rationing coupons. This is all I know

8" tall
About 7" in diameter
Condition:
I don't see any flaws. You may want to look closely at the photos to see where the clay was shaped.
