Rare HTF Vintage African American Soft Rubber & Cloth Grumpy 15" BABY Doll

Item: This is an unusual vintage baby doll with rubber limbs & head on a cloth body. He has a grumpy expression on his face which adds to his charm. His rubber is still nice & soft. He has a mommy made gown & diaper. By the type of material he appears to be from about the 1940s'. Year or Era: 1940s'. Size: About 15" tall. Condition: He is in good condition with no damage or repairs but does have a slight musty odor. I believe he was stored in a plastic bag which is why the rubber is still nice & soft but probably contributes to the slight musty odor as he was stored without being exposed to oxygen or sunlight. He is from the estate of an adult collector & a healthy non smoking environment. Additional Information: An unusual doll for your collection. I was unable to find another like him on line so I'm not sure who the manufacturer was or the exact age. I am basing the age on the fabric of the gown & the look & the way he was put together.
