I am pleased to offer a stunning vintage teacup and saucer made by Hammersley, England
A beautiful floral pattern
Completely handpainted over transfer
Lovely gold filigree details
The pattern is also found on the cup interior and exterior as well as the saucer
Definitely reminiscent of MEISSEN in the style, quality and hand painting
This is an original and not a reproduced pattern
Likely dates from the 1930-40s based on the older mark
Virtually mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, other damage or restoration - both cup and saucer do pass the ping test for bone china
Very bright, unfaded handpainting details and glossy glaze
No wear to gold gilding
It does not appear to have seen much use
Cup is 4 1/2" across including handle and is 2 1/2" tall at sides; saucer is 5 3/8" across
Marked as shown with older dark pink Hammersley wreath mark and pattern 265 handpainted in dark orange
Guaranteed to be VINTAGE and not reproduction or re-issued
