Vintage German Shepherd Dog Head Whisk Butler's Brush
Charming vintage valet bristle brush with an impressive porcelain German Shepherd dog's head. The dog's head is painted in a deep brown, and is nicely detailed. This brush was made in Germany in the 1930's. Wonderfully unique and special gift to any German Shepherd owner or lover of the breed.
Measures: 6 1/4" tall (to tips of the ears), and 2" wide (tip of nose to back of head).Marked faintly with #8577 Germany on the back.
Very good original condition. There are areas of rubbing/loss to the paint at the high points and consistent with age.  This brush is very full and still sturdy enough to be used for the purpose it was intended and will stand on it's own.
The coloration of the muzzle appears more golden tan in the pictures than actual.
